Suzanne Weiner

Suzanne began “doing yoga” with her cousins as a child growing up in Trinidad. Those initial forays into playing with the physical postures evolved over time into a practice that has brought balance into her life both mentally and physically. Her yoga practice saw her through a difficult pregnancy, chronic back pain, torn muscles, helped her cope with change and loss and a pressure filled job.  Yoga provides the tools to bring balance when she is off her mat and living an active and busy life.

She completed her 200 RYT training in 2009 under the guidance of Jill Sockman at Blue Lotus Yoga and Movement arts in Raleigh NC and has taught at studios in both Raleigh and Durham.  She has also included the practice in her educational consulting, teaching meditation and using yoga to help unlock creativity.  Her teachers have included Jill Sockman, Shiva Rae, Heather Tiddens, Gabriel Halpern and she is also certified in Thai Yoga Massage under the guidance of Gabriel Azoulay. Her educational focus on alignment, energy and meditation inspires all of her classes and she provides a nurturing and supportive environment for students to explore and discover their boundaries and edges.

Moon Flow and Unwind

Moon Flow & Unwind is a calming, nourishing yoga class built around Chandra Namaskar (Moon Salutation), a gentle vinyasa sequence designed to soothe the nervous system and invite deep relaxation. The practice strengthens the lower body—especially the knees and ankles—while improving flexibility in the hips, pelvis, and hamstrings, and supporting healthy digestion. Working with Chandra Nadi, the lunar energy channel associated with emotions, this class offers a deeply grounding and emotionally balancing experience. Slow, mindful movement flows seamlessly into restorative postures, allowing the body and mind to fully unwind. Inspired by the energy of the full moon, Moon Flow & Unwind is a quiet, reflective practice that leaves you feeling centered, restored, and deeply nourished.
